Fake Story Part II

Boy, Jeffy, that was quite a grand adventure
Worth all the lonesome miles we had to trek
Strange peoples and even stranger places
Such encounters on our oddly epic quest

Upon returning to lovely Ontoranto
We heard a roar but we didn't know from where
It was the cheer of a thousand happy townsfolk
Mounties, firemen, and the city mayor

At the lectern we told some random story
Unrelated, irrelevant, and dull
Wide-eyed, they stood there and enjoyed it
Even though it was a total crock of bull
